I've been a fan of Banksy for a while now. A few years ago I came across his book "Wall and Piece," which I purchased on the spot. The book added to my intrigue. The mediums he uses are limitless, and his themes usually include, politics, irony and humor at the same time. I perceive him as some sort of vigilante who targets big government, globalization and mainstream media. His methods have brought awareness to hundreds of thousands of individuals, mainly the youth. The interesting factor of his work is that it resonates louder than any article would. His work is extremely purposeful, memorable, and intelligent. Here are a few of his recent works all throughout NY.
